For dad...

First actual blog post!! How very exciting...?? I'm not sure I'm in the groove just yet to be excited but hopefully that will come later. For now, I have my first blog of craftiness for you (and you know who you are!). In keeping with my love of a quick craft fix, I whipped up a coordinating patchwork piece to decorate a luscious minky soft blanket to keep my dad warm in this horribly cold weather we're having. He really, and I mean really feels the cold and it's one of the few things I can do for him to make life a teensiest bit better. While I was at it, I covered three canvases with some of the fabrics and hung them on one of his bare walls. He won't see them much (because of his condition) but they do make the room feel cosier for visitors.

They match the furniture and room decor nicely :)
